If your dog likes a good road trip — or even better — a drive to the park or the beach, one of these Waterproof Outward Hound Hammock Car Seat Covers could come in handy. It’s so versatile it protects not only the back seat and the floorboard area from dirt, dander and little accidents, but also keeps pets in training from coming over the console. It’s much neater looking and more secure than typical seat covers. And a better deal than some that have more features.
The Hammock Car Seat Cover is made of black, durable Oxford cloth with true waterproof backing. The design allows for safe seat belt exposure, too. And the double sided design prevents your pet from rolling down. Size: 62″ (front to back) x 48″ (door to door).

Cats love to sit on your keyboard. And since I don’t discriminate, I’ll tell you some little dogs do, too. Sooo adorable, but just not … what’s the word? Comfortable. You thought I’d say productive? I’m Labrador Recliner, remember, and more concerned about comfort than productivity. You’re in luck, though, because when you kitty is cozy in the Kitt-In Box, you’re free to cruise the keyboard and shop for more cheap pet stuff.
The best feature of the Kitt-In Box is you can attach it to the side of a desk (or place it on top). It even comes in three stains to coordinate with your office decor. Felt pads protect the desk top. Don’t take my word for it, but my cat friends say they like the soft cushion bed and the high sides. The Kitt-In Box supports a 20 lb cat and small dogs.

My favorite pet gadget of all time is the FURminator deShedding Tool. That’s because I’m a total shed monster. My neighbor is a pet sitter and she says Labrador Retrievers shed more than any other dog. I don’t know if she’s right or not, but it’s true for me. I tried everything, and the best thing I found — without a doubt — is the FURminator. And it works for cats, too (both long and short-haired). Here’s what it does:
- Reduces shedding up to 90%.

- Grabs and removes loose undercoat hair without damaging the topcoat.
- Brings out natural oils, leaving a shiny topcoat.
- Reduce shedding better than any brush, comb, or rake.
- Works on all shedding breeds of dogs and cats.
- Veterinarians use it and swear by it.
- Allergy doctors recommend it.
- Has
a comfortable, ergonomic handle.
